Our Team
We bring different perspectives to the table, but we’re united by a love for purposeful work and authentic connection.
Mark Clanin
Founder
Mark is a lifelong horseman, riding coach, and instructor with over 40 years of experience. He has worked with mustangs, supported therapeutic riding programs, and founded Full Circle Horseman to give back to horses for all they’ve given to him. His approach emphasizes safety, empathy, and meaningful connection—guiding both horses and humans to thrive.
Korey Kearney
President of the Board
Korey brings a lifelong connection to animals and a deep commitment to service to his work at Horsin Around Ranch. Raised in a home where his mother worked with wolves and wolf-dog hybrids, he developed early lessons in patience, sensitivity, and respect for animal behavior. His passion for horses began when his family adopted two wild mustangs, eventually leading him to start a horse training business after graduation. After several years working in construction restoration, he returned to the equine world to manage a boarding facility, a path that ultimately led him to Horsin Around Ranch. A Freemason for the past decade, Korey credits the organization with strengthening his leadership, compassion, and dedication to helping others. He sees service as a source of personal renewal and was drawn to the foundation through his trust in its leadership and his belief in the healing connection between horses and people.
Maria Loper
Board Vice President
Maria Loper has been drawn to horses her entire life, though she didn’t begin working with them until adulthood. She trained and gentled a mustang at Mustang Camp using positive-reinforcement methods, and spent several years volunteering at R&R New Options, where she deepened her commitment to thoughtful, groundwork-centered horsemanship. When not immersed in horsemanship, Maria runs Forest Aged, a business dedicated to restoring biological life to soil systems and supporting the production of healthier food for humans and animals."
Brooklyn Morgan
Board Secretary and Treasurer
Brooklyn was raised in the Bay Area in California and loved horses as a child, but didn’t have access to them. Her parents found a ranch where she could volunteer her time mucking stalls in exchange for free trail rides. Eventually, she leased a horse of her own, where she learned how to care for and develop a partnership with equines. Today, Brooklyn lives on a ranch with her family, mustangs, and a pony. Brooklyn enjoys volunteering with people and nonprofit organizations that provide resources for the underserved. She is a licensed real estate principal broker by profession and a horse enthusiast by hobby.
